Surf Check: Nauset

Hurricane Chris was a few hundred miles south of us, so we headed to the Outer Cape to check the Thursday wave action. We ended up on Nauset Beach.

The waves were okay although they were breaking right on the beach, making it hazardous even for wader-type folks.

The waves where in the 1-2-3 foot range, and some 5 and 6 ft waves.

We saw a few suckers get wrecked in the surf.

The lifeguards are all business, very attentive.

We were actually there to get pictures for our attack on Orleans article but will take some surf shots if we get them.

The surf wasn't that bad, and Nauset idoesn't build their houses right on the water... so no destruction porn.

There's a guy in that wave, getting wrecked... you just can't see him

What's that?

Everybody is somebody else's white meat

They got rid of the Clam Shack and replaced it was for roach coaches selling $5 pizza slices.

Be careful... and remember we're watching you.
