Fall Foliage Check: South Shore, South Coast

We've been taking a lot of pictures of a lot of trees, and we have more than enough for a few Leaf Peepa articles.

Peak foliage has finally made it to our coverage region.

We did a run from Hingham to Duxbury through Pembroke towards Bridgewater, then went back roads south to 195.

Route 105 figures heavily in any foliage article that we do.

Again, this isn't Vermont, we aren't up on a mountain shooting down on valley treetops.

No, we do a lot of individual trees, and even resort to not only individual branches, but to individual leaves

Any leaf peeping trip on the South Shore that doesn't involve drinking here is a trip that I ain't going on, Jack.

Our modus operandi is a fat session, followed by 4 hours of aimless driving while listening to Roots Reggae.

We cover a lot of ground...

We may even be outside your house right now.

Look for a wandering stoner journalist in a Toyota.

These were shot over the weekend, so you want to hustle if you are planning a similar trip in a similar area.

You can tell which pics Stacey sent in, as she knows how to photo edit.

We'll have another batch published after Halloween, then we'll do a Cape Cod foliage check in early November.

The Cape is peaking when New Hampshire is spent.

This is technically Cape Cod, but it is also mainland Bourne.

There's a nice 105 sign.

More to come...
