Scituate Heritage Days

This weekend was Scituate's Heritage Days celebration.

The show was at Scituate Harbor,  of course.

There was something for everybody, even people who concurrently enjoy Fish Art and LSD.

We got there after Draw The Line played, because I show up late and I leave early, usually in the company of some little girly. It must be tough being an Aerosmith tribute band in the area where Aerosmith lives, but it must also be tough to wear a vest on an 88 degree day.

Good crowd for the music, we were able to get close to the front easily enough.

The party doesn't start until the guy dressed as a pirate shows up.

It was a whale of a good time.

We got there at 4, left before 7, and in between I ate steak tips, a cheesesteak, a cheeseburger, a sausage/peppers/onions sub and a deep fried Snickers. I did have a small Diet Pepsi, so all was not lost. This puts "2019" as the year my diet works well enough to take my shirt off at the beach.

Scituate has an excellent waterfront area, and is one of the better places in our coverage area to power drink.

Some folks had a cool balcony view of the proceedings.

John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band headlined the event. JC and the BBB were a passable 80s band who had a top 10 album once. They're a Rhode Island act who sound like someone tripped over the E Street Band.
