Off-season: Duxbury Beach

We head to the beach for a misty April morning, because reasons.

As many elderly tourists will tell you about Cape Cod, there are advantages to off-season visits. Advantage #1 is having the beach to yourself. Duxbury isn't Cape Cod, but the same rules apply.

Well, you get it almost to yourself.

We had actually headed there to shoot foxes and snowy owls. "Shoot" meaning "shoot pictures," we got no love for Duxbury's fox cull.

A neckbreaking jungle gym? No, just a couple of lifeguard stands.

Duxbury, aiming towards Plymouth.

Free boat! Finders = Keepers, right?

Damn!

Well, it wasn't a total disaster... if it were a total disaster, that siren would be going off.

We will explain what those little channels are for in a future article.
